Why people love to travel to Turkey?

Tell us abit about yourself..?

Hi i am Tracie i am 37 yrs (young) i am from Liverpool I have been married to Edip for almost 4 yrs I am a support worker working with children & young people with disabilities.

What made you first decide to visit Turkey?

A friend recommended turkey to us in 1995 she had been before and loved it there so we thought we would give it a try 2 wks B&B £169 in altinkum but to be honest we didnt like it much, but were invited back to attend a wedding so went back in the sept that yr & we loved it there never looked back since its a beautiful country.

Which cities have you visited in Turkey?

I have been to a lot of plces in turkey, Istanbul about 5 times, Altinkum, Kusadasi, Izmir, Dalyan, Pammukale, Urkmez, Side, Belek, Manavgat, Antalya, Icmeler, Bodrum, Selcuk, Soke & a few of the villages around Kusadasi also i spend a lot of time in Yenikoy & Bagarasi (which is Edips village) they are just outside of Soke.

Would you like to visit again? If yes - What is it about Turkey that you love?

Absolutely, we are hoping to move to turkey for good in the next few months. I love everything about turkey including the people & also my family one of the things both myself & Edip miss at the moment is watching our 2 nieces & nephew growing up although we speak to them alot on the telephone its not the same as being there.

Did you feel safe in Turkey?

Yes of course to be honest i feel safer in Turkey than i do in England.

How were the Turkish people?

The Turkish people are the most honest and genuine people i have never met they treat you like you are one of there own.

Do you have any suggestions for new visitors to Turkey? Travel - tour tips? Can you recommend any specific places or advice?

Only one, enjoy it and travel around the country there are lots of wonderful places to visit.

The House of the Virgin Mary is a wonderful experience as is ephesus & Pammukale i have been to Turkey about 43 times and there are still places i would like to visit. one thing i intend to do is to take a hot air balloon ride over cappadocia i want to do that before i am 40ys.
